Serenity… refocus – seek joy – thrive

So, I decided to go ahead and change the blog name. Not an earthquake type announcement, but still… .

When thinking about what name I wanted, I realized that I wanted to incorporate one of my other um… online identities/user names, I guess, even though regardless of name I am pretty much the same.

I’ve been on the internet since the early 90′s and started irc chatting somewhere in the mid 90′s and almost from the beginning I have been “Serenity” on chat. Most everyone knows my real name too, of course, as I’ve never really been anonymous online, but old chat friends will still often refer to me as Serenity, even outside of chat.

Now to address the two burning questions – did I choose the name because of a Seinfeld episode (“Serenity now!”) or the movie? The answer to both is No! I had the name first – in fact, I think I should get royalties from the movie .
