Judge Sotomayor is, of course, of Puerto Rican descent.
So why, you may ask, does the National Review have her depicted as a South Asian or Asian uh.. Buddha type figure?

… was the 4 year old’s plaintive reply, when asked why he was standing so quietly and intently close to the tree – after I had explained (quite imperfectly, it would appear) about the tree’s “bark”.
