there’s a song in my head, lately
Really, two. And I’ve just noticed that they both begin with “somewhere”. What they end with I don’t know, as I know few of the words to either.
Anyway, one is the old standard “Somewhere Over the Rainbow”. That one I am more familiar with. The other, “Somewhere Beyond the Sea” I must have heard on a commercial or something.
I’m not really sure why either has taken hold of my brain cells and refused to let go.
Almost enough to make one long for a good rendition of “It’s a Small World” though.
I am not much for New Year’s or other resolutions but I am very happy the past decade is just that. Past.
To everyone a much brighter new year and a decade of triumphs and joys.
